조은석 목사님과 금문교회 성도 여러분께
구아모는 톨리마 주의 작은 마을 이름입니다. 이 마을은 히랄도트에 가깝게 있습니다. 나는 이 마을에서 주중 내내 설교를 해오고 있었습니다. 그러나 저 혼자가 아니라 20여 명의 젊은이들이 저와 함께 했습니다. 우리 각자는 집집마다 다니면서 예수님에 대하여 가르쳤습니다. 우리는 이 지역에 새로운 장로교회를 개척하려는 목적을 품고 있었습니다. 그런데 바로 그 같은 주간에 위험한 게릴라 그룹이 구아모 마을에 들어와 주민들을 위협하고 있습니다. 이 게릴라 그룹은 집집마다 다니며 위협하는 편지를 주었습니다. 더 놀라운 것은, 마을 주민들 중에 많은 사람들이 우리가 바로 그 게릴라 그룹의 일원이라고 생각하고 있는 것입니다. 실상은 우리도 떨고 있는데. 그러나 우리는 이 복음전도 사역을 계속하고 있습니다. 주민들에게 실상을 알리려고 힘쓰고 있습니다. 아직 우리는 별 문제가 없습니다. 그러나 저희를 위해 기도해 주십시오. 미겔 페르난데스 목사 드림
Dear Dr. Cho and Golden Gate Presbyterian Church
Guamo is the name of a little Town localized in Tolima ´s state. It is localized closer to Girardot city. I have been preaching during this week in this town. But I am not alone because 20 young and teenagers’ members are preaching with me. Every day we are going to preach in every house and teaching about Jesus. We have a good purpose to plant a new Presbyterian Church in this place. But it happened that in the same week a dangerous paramilitary’s group made present here in Guamo Town and many persons were threatened. This group was visiting every house and gave the letter to everybody. So, we have been in trouble this week because many people in the town taught that our team was this paramilitary’s group and we were threatened too.
However we are still doing the work and we had to clarifying this information too.
Now we are ok, but please, pray for us.
